Our Mission

Our Mission

Our Mission is to be an advocate for economic development and quality of life by engaging our business leaders in influencing local public policy issues. We will provide a respected business voice to which government, policy, and media leaders turn for reliable, non-partisan policy guidance.

Want to help make our vision become reality?

Baseball Stadium

We envision and are committed to economic growth with residential, retail, eateries, and professional offices around the baseball stadium.

Civil War Center

We support the North Carolina Civil War History Center with public and private funding to create a $65 million dollar world-class center that will grow our tourism industry as well as total community growth around the center.

County Water

We envision county-wide water for residents and businesses where it’s needed most. We understand that inferior water will not fuel our economic growth and the people of Cumberland County deserve better.

Performing Arts Center

We envision a vibrant quality of life for our residents that includes a performing arts center located in Downtown Fayetteville.

Storm Water

We believe that there is a balance of environmental considerations and government regulations that will promote residential and commercial growth, not hinder it.

Working Together

We will provide leadership as a catalyst and convener to bring the city, the county, school board, the arts community, the hospitality industry and others together to work for the public good.

Fayetteville and Cumberland County are at a transformational crossroads that will propel our community to the forefront of the state and position us to compete economically with other communities. These initiatives and projects coupled with the recent investment by our city’s citizens in our parks and recreation will provide the momentum needed to get people to work, live, play and stay in our community. We believe that it will take leadership at all levels to achieve this transformation and stand committed to making this a stronger community.
